What cannot be calculated in integers is not fundamental physics.
It is an approximation, a limit, or a tool for engineers.

TWIST-J investigates one simple, risky hypothesis:

Physical reality is not, at bottom, a continuous field on a pre-given spacetime. It is a closed, exact, deterministic integer system. Continuum, geometry, probability and fields are its large-scale readings.

The core of the program is a single closed arithmetic object with the operator

We do not ask anyone to believe it. We ask them to compute it, reproduce it, and try to destroy it.

1 · Exactness before approximation

A fundamental law must be finite, exact and reproducible. It must not depend on rounding, on an integrator step, on an arbitrary regularization, or on a number tuned after the measurement.

We do not forbid real numbers, differential equations or smooth manifolds. We refuse to accept them as the final ontological layer as long as they can be derived as limits or effective descriptions of an exact discrete structure.

In this program the universe is not rubber foam. Spacetime is not a fabric. It is a macroscopic reading of relations, order and noncommutativity.

2 · Determinism before chance

We do not take Einstein's “God does not play dice” as a proof. We take it as a research commitment.

We do not accept randomness as a primitive explanation until experiment unambiguously forces us to. We attempt to derive probability from deterministic history, restricted reading, quadratic registration and an invariant measure.

If this attempt fails, the failure must be exact and published.

3 · One core, two projections

TWIST-J investigates whether the two fundamental abelian interactions can be two readings of a single algebraic object:

This is a working physical interpretation, not a settled fact about nature. The algebraic claims and the physical dictionary are always published separately.

4 · Time is a count. Space is a commutator

Time in TWIST-J is not an outer river. It is the inner order of steps.

Space is not a stage stretched out in advance. It arises from the noncommutativity of the permitted operations.

Smooth relativistic geometry is to be a limit of this discrete structure, not its assumption.

5 · Every claim has a status

We distinguish:

An internal theorem about TWIST-J is not automatically a theorem about the universe. The passage to physics is a separate obligation.

The word LOCK means a frozen building block with an exactly delimited scope. It does not mean protection from proof or from data.

6 · Failure is a result

Falsification is first-class knowledge.

Before a computation we write down what would kill the hypothesis. When a falsifier fires, we do not delete the result and we do not move the threshold. We archive the dead branch and rebuild only what its death actually permits us to rebuild.

TWIST-J may be wrong. But it must be wrong exactly.

7 · Discovery is not confirmation

A numerical agreement found while searching is a lead, not a confirmed prediction.

Confirmatory weight belongs only to results for which, before the data were opened, the following were frozen:

We will not call numerical closeness a derivation. We will not mistake a count of possibilities for physical necessity.

8 · Reproduction must be hostile

Every significant result must be recomputable in exact arithmetic. Two architectures are the minimum. Real confirmation requires independent authors, independent code, and an attempt to find a counterexample.

We do not want admirers. We want critics who can compute.

9 · Relation to current physics

TWIST-J does not ask the consensus for permission. It also does not dismiss a hundred years of experiments with rhetoric.

We are not obliged to be humble before authority. We are obliged to be humble before proof, reproduction and measurement.

The Standard Model, quantum theory and general relativity are the measure of what a new program must explain. Where TWIST-J merely reproduces their result, we say so. Where it gives a different prediction, we publish the falsifier. Where the bridge is missing, we write OPEN.

10 · What we claim today

We claim that:

  1. there exists a concrete closed integer system with a rich, exactly provable structure;
  2. this system supports a unified research vocabulary for time, space, measurement, fields and matter;
  3. substantial parts of the finite mathematics and dynamics are reproducible;
  4. the program has already survived, and recorded, several falsifications of its own;
  5. the decisive bridges to full physics are not yet all closed.

We do not claim that TWIST-J is today an experimentally confirmed final theory.

11 · How the program can lose

TWIST-J loses if it turns out, for example, that:

Such a defeat would be no disgrace. The disgrace would be to make it impossible.

12 · The invitation

TWIST-J is an open challenge:

We ask for no faith. We offer an object, rules, code, falsifiers, and a ledger of errors.

Simplicity is the ultimate perfection.
The universe is not rubber foam.
Chance is not an explanation.
What cannot be computed exactly is not yet fundamental physics.

And the last rule: we are not obliged to be humble before the mainstream. We are obliged to be humble before the truth.

The Canon is the ledger. This manifest is the public commitment of the method.
